  When I moved to Atlanta 4 years ago, Scott Phillipps and Paula were so welcoming and it was like "home" hanging out with Miami alums at Red & White Club events. I am now Co-Presdient of the Atlanta Alumni Chapter and wholeheartedly support Scott and his efforts with the Red & White Club.~Christine L. Hoover '99  I was a decathlete on the 1987-2001 Track and Field Teams, and over the course of my athletic and academic career at Miami, I took life-long lessons that I now instill in my students and athletes in my role as a teacher and coach. Why should I join the Red and White Club?
The Red and White Club supports all aspects of the athletic department. In particular, we take pride in helping deserving student-athletes achieve great things both on and off the field of play. Your membership and contribution will ensure Miami student-athletes succeed at the highest levels.
If I contribute to a facility project, will that be counted for Red and White Club membership?
No, such gifts are not counted toward Red and White Club membership. Facility and endowment gifts are considered special gifts, and are above and beyond annual Red and White Club membership. The athletic department relies on annual gifts to the Red and White Club, and therefore asks that you continue your annual gifts to this Club.
Can I contribute to a particular sport, or does my gift go to a general athletic department fund?
The need for unrestricted donations is great due to the size and scope of our athletic program. We ask that you first consider a gift to the unrestricted Red and White account, but you may direct your gift to any program in our athletic department.
