Academic Enhancement Fund

My experience at Miami's Luxembourg campus has shaped my life, and I think more college students should have the opportunity to study abroad, as it broadens their perspective and teaches them important skills they will use for the rest of their lives.
After studying in Luxembourg, I became passionate about international relations, business, and culture. I pursued a Masters in International Business and lived in Paris for 8 months during the program, studying and doing an internship. I am now working for a global company headquartered in Berlin, and I have the opportunity to work closely with my German colleagues and periodically visit our European operations, all of which is a fascinating experience. I have been told that I am more aware and culturally sensitive than most people, and am able to value the differences rather than judge them.
I am thankful I had the opportunity to study in Luxembourg and will always treasure it.
