Why I Give to Miami...
Chad Ramlow '91I was a decathlete on the 1987-2001 Track and Field Teams, and over the course of my athletic and academic career at Miami, I took life-long lessons that I now instill in my students and athletes in my role as a teacher and coach.  I look forward to continuing my support of both Miami University and its athletic teams.  GO REDHAWKS!!

As Miami teams pursue championships, Miami student-athletes achieve success with integrity through competitive excellence in regional and national competition. They graduate at a rate higher than the national average for Division I of the NCAA. Miami’s nationally recognized “Cradle of Coaches” includes more than 35 former Miami athletes who now serve as head coaches, athletic directors, and general managers of collegiate or professional sports programs.

Supporting the Legacy
$16 million

A fortified endowment for Miami athletes and sports programs will ensure Miami’s position as one of the premier athletic schools in the country.

Scholarship Support

Most Miami student-athletes receive athletic scholarships during their tenure at Miami. Scholarships allow Miami to attract the best student-athletes and to remain competitive in the Mid-American Conference and nationally. Miami must be able to consistently award the highest allowable level of NCAA scholarships.

Facilities Projects
$34 million

Facilities play a vital role at the NCAA Division I-A level. First-class facilities enhance recruitment, encourage fan participation, and improve the image of the university regionally and nationally.
