The School of Interdisciplinary Studies combines the specialized education characteristic of a very small liberal arts college with the benefits of a much larger university. Students in the school typically have many interests they wish to pursue to fulfill specific academic and career goals.
Internships and Mentorships

Internships or mentorships with private businesses, corporations, and nonprofit agencies provide students with valuable experience. The school's highest priority is to raise funds to support student internships and mentorships.
International Study Scholarships
$500,000
Scholarships for international travel and study will enable qualified students with financial need to participate in these programs.
Center for Social Justice
$1.25 million
A Center for Social Justice will build upon existing traditions as well as help the program become a leading academic center for the study of social justice.
Living-Learning Enhancement
$250,000
Miami is a national leader in instituting theme-learning residence halls. The program seeks funds to support living-learning programs.
