A New Ice Arena

To provide a new home for Miami’s nationally-prominent NCAA Division I hockey team and its national championship synchronized skating teams, Goggin Ice Arena was rebuilt on the south side of campus, adjacent to the Recreation Sports Center. This state-of-the-art 170,000 square foot facility features two full sheets of ice and an arena with a capacity of nearly 4,000. The new Goggin provides improved venues for the varsity, club, and intramural sports programs, academic programs, and for community members.
