Armstrong Student Center Construction

According to Senior Project Manager John Seibert, construction work on the Amrstrong Student Center is well underway. Deconstruction work is ongoing on the interiors of Rowan and Gaskill Halls, and excavation and foundation work is underway for the new central structure. Though 40 percent of the walls are already standing, thanks to the repurposing of Gaskill and Rowan Halls, the new walls will begin coming up later this spring.  Construction photos.

“We want the Armstrong Student Center to be the heart of student activity. The heart of campus if you will. Unlike any other project, it has the opportunity to affect all students.”
