Recognition Opportunities

The Bicentennial Rotunda is the symbolic heart of the ASC, and donors of at least $20,000 will be recognized within this signature space.

At the heart of the campaign supporting the Armstrong Student Center is the idea of family, and Miami University wants the ASC to be a gift from those who have lived the Miami Experience to future generations. The breathtaking architecture within the ASC provides an array of meaningful recognition opportunities that will celebrate the support of Miami’s alumni and friends at an inclusive range of giving levels:

$200 – Every gift matters, and Miami wants to involve its entire family in the important work of building the ASC. A gift of just $200 per individual brings that opportunity within reach of everyone. These ‘Bicentennial’ donors will have their names proudly displayed on a graphic element within the ASC.

$2,000 – Individuals and families seeking to make a more substantial contribution to the ASC are eligible for a more visible recognition. Donors of at least $2,000 can have their name or their family’s name etched in a tile along the ‘Slant Walk’ that leads from the Hub entrance to the ASC’s Bicentennial Rotunda. The tiles will be approximately 12 X 6 inches and can include a list of names or a family name.

$10,000 – Prominent plaques, sized 18 X 12 inches, will be used to commemorate gifts of at least $10,000. These plaques, in consultation with the donor(s), will be placed strategically throughout the building to reflect the generosity of an individual, family, or group.

$20,000 or more – At the symbolic center of the Armstrong Student Center is The Bicentennial Rotunda. This element of the ASC features a large circle – roughly the size of the Seal in the Hub. Surrounding the circle are 200 arched stones, approximately 2-3 square-feet, recognizing individuals, families, and groups for their gifts of $20,000.
