Campaign Priorities

Hamilton Campus

Miami University Hamilton, an integral part of Miami University, serves the diverse population of southwestern Ohio by providing access to excellent pre-baccalaureate education as well as selected technical, associate degree, and continuing education programs. In addition, bachelor's degree programs in engineering technology and nursing can be completed entirely on Miami's regional campuses in Hamilton and Middletown.

Extreme nursing shortages in the U.S. make it more important than ever to help qualified students become nurses and join the dwindling work force.

Merit Scholarship Endowment
Students who juggle work, family, and college deserve to be rewarded for achieving a high standard of academic excellence. By matriculating students with strong academic backgrounds, Miami University Hamilton will further strengthen the campus's academic standards.

Made possible by a generous bequest by a local businessman and amateur historian of the same name, the Michael J. Colligan History Project offers programs, series, projects, and symposia that make history accessible and enriching to the university, schools, and people in the Hamilton community. It is a joint project of the Colligan Fund Committee of the Hamilton Community Foundation and the Hamilton Campus of Miami University.

The City of Hamilton and the Miami Valley have a longstanding connection with the Appalachian community. Miami University Hamilton seeks funding to establish a Center for Appalachian Studies to increase awareness of the contributions of the Appalachian culture to the region.
