Make a Gift to the Honors Program

Support of Miami’s Honors Program strengthens:

Research – allowing Honors students to take an active role in their education.
Responsibility – helping students learn about their personal responsibility to assist others and make the world a better place.
Experience – providing opportunities so that learning takes on new dimensions outside the classroom.

Honors Program Endowment
Gifts to this fund support honors students in many ways, including providing an environment that enhances students' intellectual and personal growth and sense of global responsibility. The endowment provides support for course field trips, leadership initiatives, honors student organizations, recruitment events, community service projects, study abroad experiences, and leadership development for honors students, faculty and staff.

University Honors Program Fund for Student Initiative
This fund directly supports research and other scholarly projects by University Honors Program students. It enables students to engage in significant learning experiences such as attending professional conferences, procuring laboratory equipment, visiting archives to study primary source materials, covering travel costs to internship or community service sites, paying for advertising for their musical performance, or conducting surveys or focus groups needed for their thesis project.
Urban Leadership Internship Endowment (Howard Luedeke Fund)
Funds support this summer internship program, providing an opportunity for sophomores and juniors to engage in professional practice and community service within an urban environment.
