$2 million gift focuses on success on and off the basketball court.

Richard and his wife, Cheryl, gave more than $1 million to show their support for the next generation of Miami students. Their gift creates two scholarships to help recruit Computer Science majors in the College of Engineering and Computing.

A Miami degree, but make it fashion. Tim graduated with a degree in Psychology, but his years spent working at The Gap ignited an interest in understanding the business side of retail. Tim has made a gift to endow the Miami University Fashion Institute directorship, paving the way for an innovative major that fuses the realms of fashion design and retail merchandising.

Peter and Betsy took classes at Miami's business school during the same time frame, but their paths didn’t cross until their senior year. Now Peter and Betsy are a Miami Merger opening doors for the next generation with two new scholarships for student-athletes in the Farmer School of Business.

Arthur has committed a bequest gift to honor the memory of his late wife, Helen Hamer Geoffrion ’60. The gift is a tribute to Helen's Miami Experience, as well as her lifelong passion for family and sports.
