As Shideler Hall nears its 50th year, Miami University and the State of Ohio have committed to bringing the facility into a new era of excellence with a major renovation, addition, and series of upgrades that will meet the needs of today’s and tomorrow’s students in geology, environmental earth science, geography, and the Institute for the Environment and Sustainability.
The newly enhanced Shideler Hall will support an increasingly interactive and project-oriented curriculum. It will also create access to the modern laboratories and technologies that are essential to providing our students the hands-on and real-world learning opportunities that set them apart as graduates.
