Through the Match the Promise—Immediate Impact program, Miami seeks to connect donors to Miami students through meaningful four-year scholarships awarded to two or more students in our effort to recruit, empower and graduate a new generation of Miamians
Match the Promise—Immediate Impact scholarships are expendable four-year scholarships that are matched with an individual student in the Miami University school or college of a donor’s choice. These recruitment scholarships offer an important incentive for top students who are considering Miami and provide each student the security of a scholarship that remains with them to graduation.
The Commitment
The Match the Promise—Immediate Impact program seeks a $5,000 donor commitment each year for four consecutive years—a $20,000 total commitment. The awarded student receives 100% of the donor’s support, and if the initial gift is made by March 31, it can be awarded for the next academic year!
Miami’s Match
For a limited time, Miami University is backing Match the Promise—Immediate Impact by offering a 50% match to your gift. That means your students will receive an additional $2,500 annual match from Miami that brings the total yearly value of your named scholarship to $7,500—a game-changing offer for any student with the drive and desire to be a Miamian.
