Lifetime Recognition Societies
The Miami University Presidents Club was founded in 1968 and the Prodesse Society in 1984, both for the purpose of advancing the goals of the institution. Over the years, members of both societies have joined together to provide millions in private support to enrich the academic community and to invigorate campus life.
All members of both societies receive special mailings and invitations to various university events.
If you have any questions, please contact Heather Kaufman, Director of Stewardship, at 513/529-5227 or email: kaufmaha@muohio.edu.
Prodesse Society There are three levels of recognition within the Prodesse Society-the William H. McGuffey Associates for our $100,000-$499,999 donors, the Whitelaw Reid Associates for our $500,000-$999,999 donors, and the Benjamin Harrison Associates for special recognition of our $1 million dollar donors. Payments may be made over a lifetime.
Presidents Club Miami's most prestigious annual giving society celebrates the leadership of donors who contribute $2,000 or more each year. Through enhancing a profound commitment to teaching, advancing research and innovation, and supporting leading edge programs and facilities, members of the Presidents Club empower Miami to embrace the possibilities of its third century.
Brice Society The Calvin S. Brice Society, recognizes the generous support provided by alumni and friends through planned gifts. Membership in the Calvin S. Brice Society will be extended to all individuals who include a provision to support Miami University through a bequest, living trust, charitable gift annuity, charitable remainder trust, pooled income fund account, provision in their retirement plan or IRA, life insurance policy, or a remainder interest in a residence or farm.
